Ru Ware (汝窯) stemmed from Northern Song Dynasty (960BC-1127BC) and is ranked as one of the top five famous kilns. Ru was named after the kiln in Ruzhou (in Henan province, China) where is specialized in producing the celadon.
Due to its special glaze material and firing process, reddish-brown crackles will gradually appear after use. The crackles are considered a typical decoration. This is a fine art and collectible.
